Durable 5th Scale Rims are few and far between. The community is used to the standard OEM 1.0 Rims which unfortunately have the tendency to break and rub on the internal webbing and 2.0 rim plastic is quite fragile and will break without warning. With the MOD rims we set out to design a true racer rim that you can count on and last multiple sets of tires. With the most important being to be more durable and have better wheel clearance then its competition. The MOD Race Armor Wheel is just what your looking for. 

Special Design Features:

• Better approach angle on Scallop Webbing to improve clearance as to not come in contact with suspension arm components both front and rear. 
• Increased hub webbing for best overall durability. 
• Durable circular wheel pattern design both looks good and performs better
• Stainless Steel wood style screws for better purchase on rim plastic 

Testing: 

• Tested over several months and major West Coast Racing events. Plastics and wheel design aspects where adjusted until the final product we have here. MODs very own Matt Olson had his hand from start to finish in this project testing and pushing the rim to its absolute limit and we can safely say the final product passed the grueling tests. The rim was not green lit until every aspect of the design was meticulously  gone through and adjusted.
